Please help me in welcoming our newest sponsor to Vintage Indie, artist Julie Haymaker Thompson.

illustration to a love for arts and crafts of all kinds. She has been
freelancing for 20
years. Prior to that she worked as a greeting card artist for Hallmark

From her collection is her " gourde ghost" (pictured above). The head is made from a tiny real gourd and craft store
finds. The hanging piece around his neck is a paper clay stamped charm
. He is also adorned with vintage fabrics , gauze, lace and wire.
You can also find other enchanting pieces in her collection like this one (pictured above) called "Oh". Oh’s "body is a wooden glass faced box with a vintage rhinestone broach
and silver leafing inside. Her head is paper clay and her dangling legs
are beads. The hat is wool felt. She is part of a continuing series of
dolls that Julie is doing in this format.
Julie also has a passion to share with others her love of art. She’s recently just launched workshop retreats at her home in Santa Fe.
