I’ve had a love affair with old hardware since I was a young teen and I antiqued with my Mom, and became part of her antique biz. I collected hardware for years, and became a painter of shabby cottage style furniture, where I often used my collection of hardware.
I STILL buy hardware whenever I see it at a good bargain! I love using it on the jewelry! I love the design of old hardware, often I think of gothic or rennaisance when I work with it in my jewels!
