LAST GIVEAWAY of 2009: Annies Wearable Art – Wedding Collection
The Indie Wedding Guide would like to welcome you to enter our last giveaway of the Indie Wedding's Month Celebration. This is a large giveaway valued at $152.00 brought to you by AnniesWearable Art! For entering information see below.
Bride in White 1920s flapper shape Hand-crochet cloche hat, Value: 34.00
This cloche hat is for any season but is especially lovely for a Spring or Summer Wedding. All handcrochet in pure white 100% Egyptian cotton. The bell shaped brim is painstakingly woven with white satin. It has a vintage white lace banding and organza fluffy white flowers adornment. Adornments are stitched on so they can be easily adjusted for size, which allows the hat to fit from a 21 to 24 inch head. (Mannequin measurement is 21 inches.) The best thing about this cloche is that it doesn’t have to be restricted to one time only wear. The bride can change the embellishment later, or just wear it for a fun outing!
Matching Hand-crochet fingerless gloves, Value: 27.00
These gloves are hand-crocheted in pure white Egyptian cotton and accented with two satin bowettes and pretty vintage rhinestone buttons.
Vintage Crystal Prism Earrings, Value: 32.00
Salvaged from a relative’s disassembled antique chandelier, this jewelry is probably my very favorite to make. They are special! Earrings are fashioned using crystal octagonal antique prisms, Czech glass faceted rounds that dangle from .925 sterling french earwires.
Vintage Crystal Prism Bracelet, Value: 42.00
An antique octagonal crystal chandelier prism is the centerpiece for this beautiful bracelet, surrounded by Czech glass rounds, Swarovski crystal rondelles set in silverplate, and silverplate findings with lobster clasp. A gorgeous faceted Swarovski AB drop dangles from the end. Adjustable to fit most sizes.
Lavender Strawberry Honeymoon accoutrement, Value: 17.00
A crochet strawberry in pure white cotton is accented by a handmade rose upcycled from vintage white peplin fabric, accented with lace, satin ribbons and infused with natural lavender scent. Pack it in your luggage and leave the fresh, light scent of lavender in your linens and things.
Antique 1908 Postcard of Engaged Couple-humorous
Postmarked 1908, Chicago, IL and still retaining the postage stamp, this funny postcard shows a couple being accosted by the bride-to-be’s Mom, who is saying “It’s ten o’clock”, and it reads:
“TEN O’CLOCK. He: I’ll be so glad when we are married, and your mother calls on us. It will be such satisfaction to send her home at ten o’clock.
