Domino Magazine Folds – Who’s Next?

If you haven't already heard, it is with a heavy heart that I tell you, one of my favorite publications, actually my number one favorite Domino has folded. Honestly it's the only one I've kept my subscription for, for a long time.

I'm sure you've also heard of many others folding like Country Home, O at Home, Cottage Living and Home Companion just to name a few of the vanishing publications.

What do you think of all of this?
I will miss my Domino fix, it's a good thing we still have our internet & blogs! Where will you seek your Domino/ (insert other magazine here) void?

  1. I’m in tears right now. Seriously. This was my only magazine subscription, and now they’re ripping it from my hands! I honestly don’t know how to fill the void.

  2. Aargh…this is 6th magazine that I subscribe to that has folded (including Domino, MEHC, Cottage Living and Country Home that you mentioned). This is so disheartening – as I adore a fresh magazine. Blogs will help fill the gaping void left but not quite…

  3. I agree Vicki.
I enjoy a good cup of joe’, and a relaxing evening flipping through the pages of my favorite print publication. I hope these aren’t permanent. Maybe someday they’ll bring them back. I’m glad I’ve held on to all of my old copies so I’ll have something to flip back to.

  4. What?????? Domino and Country Home were my only 2 subscriptions!! Both gone????? The internet and blogs are nice, but I really like looking through the mag. I can touch it and keep looking at it………

  5. It’s TERRIBLE! HORRIBLE! I could go on. . . and I will. . .It’s SAD, AND UNFAIR! I love all of these magazines, especially Home Companion and Domino. Of course I’m middle aged, and grew up with magazines. They give me comfort. The computer gives me a headache. . . though I’m on it more than I read magazines. Oh.

  6. I was a fanatic reader of greek Domino, I so liked its style, in the end it became the only deco magazine I bought regularly. And suddenly a few months ago no more Domino, I really miss it.

  7. Does anyone know what happens if you’re a Domino subscriber? I paid for a subscription for the next 2 years…do we get our money back? A subscription to a different Conde Nast publication? Lose our $?
