The Daily Swank – Fieryeyed
When I came across today’s Daily Swank feature it just brought a smile to my face. Normally this is something I would share in my personal blog (still in design process) but I couldn’t pass up sharing this indie photographer’s images with you. They capture such a gorgeous simplicity to me that hits home.
My son (6) and I have a yearly tradition of baking about 6 loaves of homemade banana nut bread. He’s been making them with me since he was two. Whisking the eggs, mashing the bananas and learning the process of baking by my side. When I seen this picture eggs and a whisk it reminded me of the first time we started this tradition and got me in the mood for baking.
Just the simplicity of the objects photographed and the warm edges provoke so many feelings. I’m sure this picture can bring back memories for so many of us.
Photographer Jenifer Altman is the creative eye behind these gorgeous shots. I love the "every day life" feel to each and every one of her original photos.
Some days are full of busy schedules and the rigors of life but you can capture the little things that provoke memories, slow your pace and bring soothing feelings in your home with one of her stunning images. Visit Jenifer’s website for more information on her photography and visit her new Etsy shop Fieryeyed to purchase a print.
