Shop Vintage & Indie at Le Petit Garage

Today’s featured store is a perfect example of Vintage Indie. A gorgeous shop that specializes in both Vintage & Independent goods. I’m thrilled to bring you Le Petit Garage.

Le Petit Garage started with a creative mind. College grad
Cara Hershey was looking to fulfill some dreams, all while creating
with her own two hands. She began her venture by first making handbags.

After pairing up with a couple of crafty friends, they soon took
their show on the road. A "boutique on wheels" is what Cara called it.
They traveled together giving at home parties for people who filled
their homes with handmade goods and crafty creations. Little did Cara
know, her dream of opening her own actual store was about to come true.

With a wonderful idea from Cara’s mom and a friend Le Petit Garage was born. Yes, Le Petit Garage really is in a garage. Not just any garage. A street side shop nestled in the first floor of the very same  ocean home Cara grew up in, in Seaside Heights, NJ. 

Today, the antique tables serve as displays. All of them holding creations from indie designers themselves and gorgeous vintage finds.  While the gorgeous chandelier ceiling illuminates the boutique.

After three years of business Le Petit Garage has expanded and opened it’s second location on the boardwalk called Cabana. They’ve also recently launched their online website and are in the works of opening a third location called The Paris Flea Market.
