Shop Indie – For a Good Cause

I always like to support a good cause and Vintage Indie Sponsor Tacky Back in Time asked if I could share Etsy for Animals with you . Etsy for Animals is a shop on Etsy where items are donated to be sold and profits donated to the chosen charity of the month. Etsy for Animals has chosen her favorite charity the Town Cats of Ocean City MD this month. Have you heard of Marmalade Pink? Marmalade Pink is a co-operative of online women owned businesses supporting socially conscious shopping. A group of fabulous women who also donate to a worthy cause every year. Each year 5% of member dues are donated to a selected charity twice a year. They have chosen the ALS Association (also known as Lou Gehrig’s) to recieve their first donation of $250.00 for the July to December time period.

This is only a tiny glimpse into the world independent shops who give from their hearts and who support many causes. Thank you for letting me share these two with you today.
