Monday News – Week of October 6th
Good Monday morning to ya!
Did you have a nice weekend? I’m whooped this morning after spending the weekend camping with a group of cub scouts. It was a great weekend for camping. Fresh fall air, campfire food (the best part of course) and fishing. It was a new experience for our family as a hole, but all four of us thoroughly enjoyed it. I think it is going to become a family tradition around here. I encourage you to try something new this season. You never know if it will just click with your whole family and then you’ll have something you can do together.
I hope you are excited for another fun week at Vintage Indie. We are celebrating art and artists all month long with special guests Glitter and Grunge and Handmade Parade! We’ve also welcomed some exclusive sponsors from those two sites, please be sure to visit their links to your right.
OK so it isn’t brand new, but the announcement is. Please mark your calendar for Thursday’s as that will be our official day each week for Vintage Indie Life. Instead of choosing a day each week, we’ll be coming back here on Thursdays to "show and tell".
If you are new to Vintage Indie Life please follow this link from the first ever Vintage Indie Life for details. It’s easy, I promise!
This week’s topic is SEMI-OPEN! Share anything you want about autumn, fall, or vintage of course!
Are you getting excited yet? The Vintage Indie Market is shaping up beautifully with the best of the best in handmade vintage, vintage style goods and more. The launch is right around the corner November 1st. If you are interested in becoming a vendor please visit this link for details. The deadline for vendors and vendor info is October 25th.
Did you miss the Editors "What I’m reading Friday". I hope you don’t mind, my list was a little short so I opted not to post it. I was very busy preparing for the big camp out that I didn’t have time to finish it. Stay tuned this Friday’s post will be loaded with some great linkage!
Have a great week everyone!
